In
Loving Memory of Wendy Thibeault
You left us so suddenly. We were not ready to say goodbye. We
thought we would grow old together, to one day look back at all the Maple
Festivals we did as a team. You came on board the "Maple Train",
like a hometown girl who loves working with family, friends and neighbors. You
helped us keep the tradition. You symbolized what is good in
our community. Wendy you fit right in. You understood the
magic in people and worked so hard to never let us down. You encouraged
us, made us better, shared your warmth and helped us to reach up. Do
you know how much we loved your spirit, tenacity and enthusiasm? We
shall fondly remember the little dark haired feather of a girl who knew
how to quietly make a difference, while giving the credit to others.
Today we are overcome with disbelief, grief and anger. We know
an injustice has taken you away. We call out for justice. When
that day of justice comes we will wrap you tenderly in our thoughts and
prayers and lay you to rest, calling upon our shared memories of you
as we walk on.
